Verifying my identity – Face Match Identification

To verify your identity, we use a multi-step process (in no particular order) that involves the services of our third-party vendor. You will be required to join a video verification call with our personnel through our third-party vendor’s application. You will need to download your Aadhaar XML from your Aadhaar account and upload it to that application. Your current location will need to be shared (or obtained by us). Our personnel will also ask you certain questions (which will be randomly generated) to verify your identity and other related details. We will also take a picture of your face and PAN card. The photo of your face will then be compared to the face on your photo identification in your Aadhaar XML and PAN card using facial recognition technology. Your PAN card will be compared to a national database for verification. Once this process is complete, your personal data collected during this process will be stored in accordance with our retention policy and to the extent required for regulatory purposes and may be shared with our other third party vendors only for the purposes for verifying your identity and processing your personal data.
